Look Beyond

You see my limitations
And cant look beyond them
You see what i can no longer do
Not what i have learnt from this
You see my illness
Not the person inside
You tell me you love me
But love is an action not a statement
You tell me your'e my friend
But you dont show me
My illness scares you
You let that fear distance us
You forget that I am not my illness
I am still me
Tell me.............
